- The Better Arguments Project -
Sean Kavanagh's Invite to the NH Lakes Region
My invite from Sean before he contacted me in that he was asked and had agreed to rescind the invite because an organization's thought it may be too conservative for two candidates to talk in this type of forum.
Hello Tom,
I believe our world is polarized not because we argue too much, but because we don't argue well enough. Differences of opinion are healthy, and as Americans, we have the right to disagree under the first amendment to the constitution. (I know you know that, Tom!)
So please join me for a Better Argument; an event where we will exchange our perspectives on important issues, and end up with a better understanding. This is NOT a debate. There are no winners and losers.
We'll pick a philosophical topic to begin with; for example "How do we balance personal freedom and collective responsibility?"
We would discuss this topic following the principles of Better Arguments. See here for details Better Arguments org...
Group make up. I'd like to convene about a dozen Belknap County residents who represent a cross-section of perspectives. I want liberals and conservatives, men and women, young and old, transplants and lifers, etc.
Please be in touch if you'd like to participate. Once we have a good sized group we'll select a place and time.
thanks and I look forward to it.
Sean

OCTOBER 8, 2021
I am honored to endorse Karoline Leavitt for Congress,
Karoline Leavitt has been in the forefront as the CD-1 candidate consistently speaking out in upholding New Hampshire values with expertise in understanding national and world issues.
New Hampshire needs a fighter, one who will stand up for us, a Congressional member who will stand for New Hampshire needs and concerns and not beholden to other interests.
This election we need to change New Hampshire’s history of sending Congressional representatives who served Party leadership and outside interests instead of the State of New Hampshire and our citizens.
I ask New Hampshire, especially our Undeclared Voters, to make that change and support Karoline, the candidate for Congress who will represent our state and families.
-Tom Ploszaj NH House of Representative
There are presently five Republican candidates campaigning for Congressional District 2.
The 2020 US Census information shows a change in New Hampshire's population from the previous decade and I expect there will be changes made to he NH election districts.
I have endorsed Karoline Leavitt as my candidate for CD-1 because of Karoline's pro-New Hampshire and pro-America campaign.
Though we do not know as today who will be the Dem challengers in the General Election, I believe Karoline would win the General Election and be the best to fight in Congress for New Hampshire family values.
New Hampton voters, Karoline is my choice as the best candidate, as I had express for over a decade, I would expect that the voters will check out and research all of the candidates in the primary and make their own informed decision.
In the Republican primary, by my standards I can only suggest two candidates; Karoline Leavitt Karoline for Congress...
or
Tom Baxter Tim for Congress....
As in 2020, I am anxious to hear from you again to discuss your pro and cons of the candidates you believe would be the best for New Hampshire and who can win the General Election.
